Ponytails are slowly become fashionable once again, and I am somewhat happy. I expect this is going to be a very hot Spring/Summer season, so the ability to wear your hair out of your face and off your neck is going to be glorious. As of lately many celebs have been spotted wearing ponytails. For example, Jennifer Lopez was spotted wearing this "Barbie" like ponytail during a recent taping of American Idol (and looked absolutely gorgeous).
Rihanna was also gave us her take of the ponytail by wearing a long ponytail with bangs.
I attempted to do a faux bob and it was a borderline fail. It was kinda cute though.
I curled all of my hair with a wand. After i sectioned my hair in three sections and just pinned it up to create the illusion of a faux bob. Where I failed is that it kept falling and I guess I didn't pull out enough hair towards the back. It will be better next time.
I was watching Ugly Betty. Oh how I miss this show.
Please help me figure out ways to make this look work. Thanks
Over the weekend I purchased my first wig. I am looking to make a transition out of weaves and into full wigs so I thought I would give it a test run with a synthetic wig.
I purchased the FreeTress Equal Wig in the Viera style, color 1, which is Jet Black. This is a synthetic wig that allows heat up to 400 degrees. Overall, the feel of the wig definitely resembles human hair. I do not foresee me wearing this wig for a long time because I can already see some tangling. Nonetheless I am happy with this impulsive purchase.
